How do I record Exercise?

To record exercise in the ControlMyWeight iOS app, tap the blue and white add (+) circle located at the bottom center of the Diary page screen. Select the Exercise option.


Step-by-step instructions to record an exercise from the database are as follows:

  • Select the add (+) circle located at the bottom center of the screen
  • Select Exercise
  • Tap the Name field and begin typing the name of the exercise you wish to add. Items from the database will appear below it. Select the search result that best matches the exercise you wish to record.  
  • Continue to enter all required details by tapping each entry field (e.g. speed, burned, duration). Note: The burned field calculates automatically after speed and duration have been entered.  
  • Select Done to finish recording. If the Done option cannot be selected, it is an indication that a required field is missing.

 To create a Custom Exercise:

  • Select the add (+) circle located at the bottom center of the screen
  • Select Exercise
  • Tap the Name field and enter the name of your custom exercise
  • Continue to enter all required details by tapping each entry field (e.g. speed, burned, duration). Note: A value for the burned field must be manually supplied for custom exercises.
  • Select Done to finish recording. If the Done option cannot be selected, it is an indication that a required field is missing.
