How do I add a Food or Recipe?

Create Custom Foods and Recipes in the ControlMyWeight iOS app by following the steps below:

  • Select Foods from the bottom of the screen  
  • Select the add (+) option at the top right of the screen  
  • Select Food or Recipe   
  • Enter the requested details (some items are optional)  
  • Select Done to save. Note: If Done cannot be selected, it is an indication that a required field is missing.  
  • Record Custom Foods and Custom Recipes from the Diary page

Edit a Custom Food or Recipe:

  • Select Foods 
  • Select the Food or Recipe you wish to edit  
  • Select Edit at the top right of the screen
  • Edit as desired. Note: While editing, scroll to the bottom of the screen for the option to permanently remove the item from your custom foods library.
  • Select Done to save

Delete a Custom Food or Recipe:

  • Select Foods   
  • Place your finger on the item you wish to delete and slide to the left  
  • Select the red Delete button appearing to the right of the item
